Opening of the Ethno-house "Guvništa"

The opening of the Ethno-house "Guvništa", the first educational center for sustainable development in the area, took place on the 7th of July 2009.
It was also an occasion for the promotion of outstanding ecotourism potential of this region.
The opening was attended by the Director of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, Prof. Nenad Stavretović, the director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia Gordana Plamenac and other representatives of State Institutions, municipalities and regions of Prijepolje. The act was as well attended by the Advisor to the Spanish Embassy Pablo Rupérez Pascualena and Juan José Sánchez Artés, director of the Vulture conservation Foundation. The construction and opening of the Ethno-house Guvnište were supported within the international project "Ecodevelopment in rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia" by the Centre for Sustainable Development Kamena Gora, one of the main partners in Serbia, the Vulture Conservation Foundation, the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, with the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation and of the Frankfurt Zoological Society.
